YES! I made it to Gatlinburg for my birthday! OMG the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! Angelea (my girlfriend), who I refer to as G, rented us a cabin up there! 2 Bedroom, with a loft, pool table, hot tub and jacuzzi! The best part was the back patio extended over a creek which was about waist deep, they had lights so you could see it at night. Nice fire place. TOTALLY AWESOME! SHe took pictures with her digital, whenever she sends them to me (she needs some special cord) I'll post them so you can see. You can see the cabin tho if you go to Fontaine Cabin Rentals and click on "OLD SMOKY". I was in heaven. Never have I had a girl spoil ME, you know? And man did she ever. That was only part of the gift. AS IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH!!!! She also made a cd of songs which she said reminded her of me and we slow danced by candle light and fire light in the living room of the cabin. Can you imagine that? Dimly lit, by the fire, slow dancing to Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love" AMAZING. The entire weekend was so touching. Never felt so special in my life. When we weren't at the cabin we were walking around downtown gatlinburg which I also adored. She treated me to everything. I felt like a king. This girl is something else! On the way back we spent the afternoon in Asheville. I love that place too! Walked around downtown, went to the lesbian owned bookstore. LOVED it. Speakin of, we're planning to go a weekend and stay in Asheville so we can go to the girl bar, and the gay club. YOU SHOULD COME TOO! Asheville's not far from you at all! Lemme know what you think!

I'll spare the details of my first trip snowboarding with you guys but if you do in fact want to read about it, you can HERE. But anyway, K-rock...you have got to go with us dawg! We went to Ski Beech this weekend, it's near Boone NC. I wasn't so impressed with it but then again, the shitty weather conditions attributed to that. The next trip will be to Snowshoe Mountain WV. Ever heard of it? We scored some free lift tickets so I'm hoping that we can head that way like the first or second weekend of Feb. It'd be a 6 hour drive for you if you met us there, or a 3 and a half hour drive to meet us in NC and ride up with us. Dawg, we'd have a blast. So tell the little woman you're coming to hang out with your fat friend in NC! And come on down. Two factors will affect when exactly we go. a: school and b: my knee. (kinda fucked it up this weekend) but no worries, I'm not letting that stop me! So take a look at your schedule...see if some weekend in Feb will work for you. ok so......i know i've neglected my girls and i'll start with an apology.

i'm sorry.

alot has taken place since i last talked to any of you guys. i'll give you the shortest update i can. i'll do it in list format:

um shanelle and i lasted about 5 mins after she got here.
by september i asked her to leave.
by october she was on a plane.
done and done.
my old phone number is no good. thank you "family plan" and an $800 phone bill that i got stuck with.
i will not post my new number so PLEASE email me for the new one.
christmas at home for the first time in years was amazing!
my nephew is an absolute doll baby!
i have been dating someone for a couple of months and she truly is a blessing. (see below for picture)
she's going to teach me to snowboard and my first lesson is at ski beech, beech mountain, nc on saturday.
jo, you and shani will hopefully get to meet her if you plan on being on island say......june ish? i'm planning a trip back out there as soon as i can find out some good dates from deanna.
i'm in school, full time and working at UPS part time, my gi bill kicks in, in a few weeks. i'm excited. gonna be bankin for real.
my classes are going pretty well
things overall.....FANTASTIC.

i think if it werent for my great job here i would move. i am so frustrated here. i feel like i have no friends and no outlets. it sucks. lady vol basketball is great and my job is great but other than that. my life pretty much sucks. i feel like i am in a relationship from hell. we do dont see eye to eye anymore and it is morse than talking to a brick wall. i fell like if i say anything about how i feel i get treated like i am telling her how to live her life. oh well whats a girl to do?

hey, just got back from tahoe... well...not just... but pretty close... i had a fucking blast in tahoe! snowboarding, gambling, snowboarding, sledding, partying, an actual gay bar! haha, didn't even know they had one... more snowboarding, more shopping, more sledding, and more partying! an old friend of mine made me miss my flight back, haha, so i got an extra day there! that was frustrating at first, but turned out to be good! i think it was the best vacation i have ever had, long or short... and it was definetly the best time i think i have ever had in tahoe... all in all, it was an amazing trip!

nikki and i are pau, who knows what will happen when she gets back, maybe things will be different, but for now, i have no desire to stay in that relationship

im going back to cali next month, for about 2 weeks! im gonna be an AUNTIE! plus i will be doing more boarding!

i bought a new surf board as well! and im super stoked about that!

um...i think thats all my updates!

I just thought you would all like to know i finally got my promotion. I am finally a store manager and my first day is today. I am really excited i wasnt expecting to get a store till around jan. but my assesment went really well and i killed both the other canidates so it kinda messed with their original plans so with my store manager fighting tooth and nail for me i got my promotion early and i only have to drive 10 min to get there. So i am really excited about that. it is the newest store so it has wooden floor and wire racks, it is really nice. anyways just thought i would let you all know

Well I am finally back in the South. The trip was great but it was time to get back home, that place had way too many memories. Most good ones but some bad ones as well. I ran into Heather at Dakota's same o same o. Also ran into Cory. MOstly i just stayed at my parents house and read like 5 books.

GOt back late friday and the house looks great she put in a lot of work while i was gone. 2 rooms are new paint, that only leaves like 6 rooms and 3 bathroom. Oh the joy of home ownership. We went and picked up Cody our 6 week old yellow lab on Saturday, He is so cute. He is going to be a beast. Cina and him get along great. we have been exposing her to lots of dogs and she seems to not be so pissy about it. She climbs through tht efence everyday to play with the neighbors dog. She almost ended up sleeping outside cause she refused to come in from playing. I finally got her in the house at 3am when i took cody out to go pee.

I am in Cali and my brothers tattoo shop. so if anyone wants tats and stuff while you are in sac you should stop by mike will hook them all up. It looks really tight.

I go back on friday. it has been a good trip. Getting my new puppy when i get back. Baby yellow lab.

House is good. It is a work in progress. Got a new kitchen table for the formal dinning room. it is a cool square table its a little taller than normal tables so the chairs are bigger but not as tall as like bar stools. But it looks really nice it is made out of Cherry and has a awesome grain pattern to it. Getting a pool after all the snow goes away. Going to go skiing in NC in Jan. i cant wait. We have like 4 big places to go within a 3 hour drive.

Well hope all is well. i tried getting ahold of you a few times in the last 2 weeks and you never answer. hope all is well.

not much has changed here, lets see.... i dont remember what i've updated you guys on....the little white dog (kane) is gone, my neighbors accross the street have him now, and he loves it, they have 2 little kids that would rather role around in the grass with him, than watch tv/video games/et cetera.... um.... i am getting a pool and a hot tub more than likely put in in the next week or so (well, the process will be started next week) not really sure how long it will take them.... midterms are this week, not looking forward to it... nikki and i are doing really well, not a single complaint there (except that she is still deployed of course, lol, but thats not her fault)... i am not going to chicago for joe and sherrys wedding anymore, even though my leave chit was signed and all... some stuff is going on at work, and i have to stay aparently....that sucks, but its ok, they are coming to tahoe with me and the boys! so that will be fun! right now its me, woody, steve, nick, nikki (nick's nikki), other nick, joe sherry, and possibly my nikki, and amber (woody's girl)... we are renting some phatty cabin in south lake! normally i stay at my ex's on new years, but way too many of us are going this year for that... so we are renting some phatty 10 bedroom! and staying at my parents the first an last day... its gonna be awesome! and then i get back, and my parents fly to this island the same day...and they will be here for about 6 days! yup...life is good right now....

family reunion

so my weekend off was great. Took angie with me. we didnt have to go till saturday but i left friday because she had surgery last week and she refused to take it easy. so i made her get out of the house so she didnt have a choice but to rest. she was really pissed at me but she got over it..lol..
so we all sat around saturday, i went down with jenny to atlanta to get my mom and dad. we had a good dinner and watched the sisterhood of the traveling pants. very good movie you all should check it out. Jenny, daniel and molly all stayed at the house all weekend. so we had a housefull but it was so much fun.
So we all went down to the reunion sunday. it was really weird, since it was always this big deal and it was really like a potluck with all the family there. there was the family trees and stuff there and it is just crazy to see it all. my granfather has 3 brothers and a sister, and only one brother and the sister are still alive.
so my mom and dad drove back with angie and me sunday night and stayed at the house. she loved it. today she helped me finish removing the wallpaper from the dining room.
i think she will come back out in feb to help me work on the house some more. so many cool things to do plus of the 3100 square feet only 3 rooms are just painted so you multiple that by the fact that each room has 4 walls. thats lots of damn wallpaper. one wall is 24 ft hough (ugh!)
well that was my weekend.
Cina is sick so i gotta take her to the vet thursday. she just has a cold. and it wont seem to go away, so off to get antibiotics.

so, anyone know where dee is? as for me, things are good here, got nothin but 100%s in school.... got my student id card the other day (finally) and i actually look really good in it, which i am happy about....we alll know how id pics usually look....things with me and nikki are good.... we are all going to chicago in 3 weeks... thats gonna be awesome (and cold)... then, in christmas, there are like...10 of us going up to the tahoe trip that i do every year... for new years... thats 2 awesome trips in 2 months, with most of my closest friends, i am getting there a few days earlier than everyone else for 'family fun' before the friends get there, and nikki was invited! i doubt she will be able to get out the desert cammies to come, but... i can be hopeful... the dogs are good... work is good... yup! thats about it! hurricanes left us alone thankfully.... keneth was a tropical depression (nothing) by the time it hit us... that was last weekend, all i "suffered" was a power outage.... which was fine, i just took a bath, and lit some candles.... so no complaints here! love and miss you guys!

hey honies! how is everyone?!? it seems a lot of us have been super busy lately! well, here's my update...

the hurricanes that were coming towards us....one went north, and the other was just a depression by the time it hit the islands... the other 2 went back to mexico... nik's stuff is all moved into my place (big fatty step in my life)... school is good, got all A's so far... work, ::shrugs:: same ole shyt! been doing lots of partying (shocking)....joe's going away party was last weekend, that was good times, not as sad as i thought, but thats cos we are all going to see him in chicago next month, so...yeah.... wednesday we all got a bit tipsy, and me and woody ended up outlasting everyone, and going to the karaoke bar accross the street from her house... lol... yup... good times... and i am working this weekend, for the first time, in a looong time... its poop! ok! thats my update...

So i have had a lot of drama lately with the house thing but that is finally settled now. the house i sent picture of didnt appraise. it appraised for 65K under wht i offered and they wouldnt lower it. their loss. well i guess mine too but this new house is pimp.
its huge 3100 square feet. half the house will be empty forever not enough furnature. oh well it will be worth it. Move in dadte is oct 22nd. the people selling the house still need a home to move into. she went to kentucky this weekend to find a place so might be moving in before the 22nd. who knows. anyways it is like a 5 min drive from work i love it.

mom and dad will be in GA first weekend in october for the family reunion i got the time off and angie and i are driving down to go visit. she cut all her hair off this weekend. it is kinda weird seeing her with short hair. but its cool.

um looking forward to ca.... my brother has been like calling me everyday, i think he is a little excited. his tattoo shop is doing really well and angie just finished his web site www.sidewayztattoo.com its pretty cool.

The weekend turned out good here, i followed behind JoJo as always, who never lets me down when in search of a good time. She finally got me down to Nashvilles... definitly one of my new favs. The band started back up too, everyone's back in town. Played last night too, which may account for some of my scatterbrainedness right now. (is that a word?) Well, my Jeep is fixed now, I had to give up the Wrangler. hey! lets see.... um, had a crazy schedule this week, coverin one of my boys' shifts.... that was pooop.... then...friday, was fairly uneventful, we all sat around woodys watchin a scary movie, and then, eventually, everyone just kinda...crashed out....then saturday was the UH-USC game, we were all freakin retardedly drunk, like... oh my god...haha.... then i went home, around 9 or so maybe....then apparently everyone went downtown, (even woody, haha, which i cant believe cos we had decided earlier that day to punk out on the downtown thing...) woody apparently passed out in shanis jeep...oh lord...me? i was at home, on the phone with my girl....

nikki is doin good right now...er, as good as one can be, that is deployed in desert cammies, but, all and all, she seems good, we have made the decision that instead of her stuff goin into storage, it is goin into my place.... she will be livin in the room next door to me when she gets back, and until then...her stuff will just be in there.... oh, and her car...lol...yeah.... good thing too! cos her car gets like...30 miles to the gallon! unlike my truck...16.5 miles to the gallon, FUCK THAT, with gas prices the way they have been the last week...man, i am drivin her car for a while! for real!

i start school on tuesday! this class is gonna be a fuckin BITCH! lemme tell ya!

Well gas is now up to 3.09 here. i knew i should have filled up yesterday when it was 2.55 oh well what are you to do. they say we have like 8 days of gas for the whole state. so i hope bush opens up the oil reserves and gets it all shipped out. i went online today to see how much my plane ticket to Cali would have been. i payed 320, thinking it would be more expensive well to my surprise my ticket would have been 224 if i bought it today. i dont know if i should be pissed or not. i would have thought the ticket would have been about 500 bucks. oh well..

Well although we got hit hard yesterday, today was a really nice day here. had some damage done. crazy enough not a whole lot of structure damage here around knoxville. Some areas of the state flooded around nashville. it was weird how the storm was. they told us we would flood but the way it was striping we got 45 mile hour winds but no rain it was really weird.

well i just wanted to let everyone know that things here for me are good. I havent went out to the house i have in escrow to see if there was any tree damage, but i will probably do that friday. not going to do too much driving around besides to and from work. gas is just too expensive.

molly is not coming home when expected from the desert as of now, a HUGE amount of flights all over the us have been cancelled, due to oil prices! gas in the gulf of mexico is up to 5.29 in some places right now!!! but....bush opened the US OIL RESERVES today, which is expected to make the prices drop a lot, so hopefully she will be home soon...

i hope everyone is safe still, i haven't talked to anyone yet today, and like i said, there are now a BUTT TON of tornados everywhere! let us know guys!

woot! its friday again....thank gawd! ok, lets see, um...haha...i slept from noon until 2 in the morning yesterday, haha, oh, yeah, i got myself ready for the weekend apparently! ha! plans for the weekend, i believe we are going campin either tonight or saturday, we'll see where the weekend takes us, but, i would guess tonight! other than that, who knows.... country bar or local bars in kailua most likely, who knows....

karen, your new place looks good, as for me and my patience...that shyt took me 2 years and about 200,000 in appreciation while i was waiting to get into, there was no way i was giving up once they started building it!

kane....(the little white dog) is going, hes too small, and because of it, is kinda like a social outkast, and its just not a place for him, he needs a home with no other dogs, or a small dog, he is only 40 LBS, and that is about half the size of akua and lucky (the stray dog).... lucky is an awesome dog, and akua loves him, so... i think thats the one i am keeping, my plan is to get rid of kane next week....sucks, he is a freakin awesome dog, but... lucky is better

Nope not in Cali yet. lets see mom will be here for family reunion in the beg of october and i will be in Cali from oct 28th till nov 11th. something around those time frames. i hope there is snow by then but i doubt it.
Yes mike owns his own tattoo shop. he got a 25k loan from the bank and he opened it, it is right across the street from Sac state. he made 900 bucks the first day (his cut). he has 2 tattoo guys, one of them being the guy who did both of mine and 1 piercer. i doubt i will get another tattoo. but i will most likely come home with a few piercings.

ok news on the house. i cancelled my contract with the builder. he was pissing me off. i have no idea how jo put up with those builders in hawaii for so long. i killed mine after 3 months. so anyways i made an offer on another home (will try to post a pic on here if i can figure it out) anyways it is 30,000 then i am building and i like it so much better. no subdivision. it is on 2 acres and has a pool and up is so cute.

hey guys...whats up? ok, i think its been since at least monday or so since i have written...SOOOOO...

lets see...i worked 6.5 days in a row last week (through tuesd) so they gave me wed and thurs off....and worked friday, then the weekend...

wed we went to nashville (country bar) and got tricked into some lame dance contest...well, somehow we made it to the final round, didn't win, but came in runner up, haha...oh lord... so we got a gift certificate! it was funny! a hip hop dance thing,at nashville....ha...

then thurs we ate at dixies, and then went to creekside... oh, and watched skeleton key (decent movie).... i worked friday morning, then friday night we went to the new girl bar called N'Tyce....had a lot of fun there, then everyone wanted to go to fusions! boooo! a bunch of gay boys dancin around in their underwear all ex-d out? i dont think so! so casey and i went home...

then saturday joe mexican hidalgo came home from west pac...woot! we of course all went out (shocking, i know)... and now, i am about to go to bed cos i work at 3 in the mornin tomorrow..

what else.....um.... think thats about it really.... i have been up since 130 this mornin....so not really quite all here.... oh...yeah....macs dont suck, its my favorite computer i have ever ever ever had, i love it to death! i am pretty sure i just have some weird cookies thing on my computer, that isn't adjustable, because....macs dont get viruses, they can carry them, and give them to you guys, but no mac has ever had a reported virus, ever.... thats one of their good qualities, if that means i dont get pop ups (which sometimes certain pages have "pop ups" that are supposed to be there) and i cant do things in pretty colors without a lot of effort, or a work computer...then so be it... i love my mac, and i will forever recommend them to friends! haha....i used to hate em, till i started researching them, and playing with friends' macs, so there!

Well, it's another fine civilian day for me! So, I'm sitting here at my parents house, anxiously awaiting the arrival of my household goods, and thought I'd catch up with you guys a bit. I see Jo figured out how not to be so gosh darn blogging retarded....it's cause you have a mac...mac's SUCK! Anyway, I read this..."ps, if this comes out black, i hate you guys!" and I had almost hoped that it had come out black, that would have been freakin hilarious! But anyway, good deal!

Shani, to expedite your exit from the navy may I suggest dislocating a knee cap or two, which not only leads to patella maltraction, but also to patella femoral syndrome. (aka runner's knee) I admit, it can be slightly painful, but then again, so is military life right? I mean you can always cut your leg off from the knee down, however COMMA, you can't get rid of the military, they get rid of you!

Since everyone wanna throw out some pics and stuff, figured I might as well too! I took these the day Shaneazy fo' sheazy got here...

I booked a suite for the day she got here, complete with king size bed, jacuzzi and fireplace. While I was picking her up at the airport, my sister was fixing up the room. Rose petals, candles, classic soul cd playing, champagne in the ice bucket, and bubbles in the jacuzzi. Did I mention bubbles? HOLY TOLEDO BATMAN! Think she went a little crazy with the bath and body works bubble bath!

You can see me in the background snapping the shot, plus the candles and the fire place, how awesome is that? Like right out of a movie! My sister did a fantastic job! And of course Shanelle covered in bubbles. As you can see, the Sisco look is fading....thank god!

After we umm.....RELAXED for a bit, :) we headed up to my parents house for dinner, so she could meet the fam and enjoy a nice SOUTHERN home cooked meal. What better way to welcome her to the south than...

Well, it's looking like another busy week and I haven't even begun making phone calls to get my personal stuff done... darn work... but i did start my 5 year physical today, I wonder if they can find out something is wrong with me, severe enough to get me out but mild enough that it's livable.... one can only hope. Someone told me something about messing up my chassis which could run the repair bill higher than 50% of the value of the vehicle. Yeah, with my luck it'll look after the fact. AHEM, talk about me like I'm not here will you? Oh yes, I'm here! And I'm swarming! hahahhaa anyway...I apologize for my absense, I MOVED INTO MY NEW APT!!!!!!!!!! wooohoooo and at the present, I have no cable or internet capabilities. You know how that goes. For that matter I don't even have my computer yet...household goods arrive on Friday...YES!!!!!!!!! Slow ass military, you know how that goes as well.

To update date you, yes I'm in the apt, shanelle arrived last thursday and things are as they should be. I must admit, since we seem to be talking about long distance, the distance put some distance between us. I was worried for a minute. But everything went right back to normal the minute she was in my arms at Greensboro International Airport.

I put her on a plane Sunday headed for NY, so she could visit family. She returns next Wednesday.

Ok.... not a big fan of writing this the second time....
Jo, of course Kendrick got home safe and sound, we left shortly after you did. Amber and Heather were no where to be found. Kinda figured I need to clean up the house in case of after party crashers on Saturday. I figure, what's the point in living so close to the bar when your house is too dirrty to open up to the ones you love.
B, loved your observations... however now I can't get that song out of my head cause someone stoll my adapter for my speakers. Not a fan.
So I'm tired and sore and wanna go back to bed.
Have a ceremony and a luncheon today so today should be cake. Cmd picnic on Friday and a bunch of the boys from work and me are gonna ride out to Bellows on our bikes. I won't be on the Peir Friday, but I will call as soon as I finish making my appearance on the beach. (B, don't you just miss mando fun)

Oh, and since I seem to be mature in all things save for romantic and dating endeavors, I have decided to give them up.

One day maybe he'll stumble into NC but for the time being...I'm excited about him coming to Knoxville, merely a 4 hour drive away. Well here is the latest update for my life. Due to a major lack of motivation and my chronic laziness I'm dropping my classes... gonna try for next semester.
Dug departed yesterday for deployment, assuming it's 6 mos. I only have 6 months left of marriage. (calm down... don't get too excited)
The band is showing promise, we actually scheduled a practice and held it.
Will have a sort of 3 day weekend (friday is a cmd picnic) so i will be available Thursday thru sunday for any desired shenangans.
Oh yeah, and I've been ASF since February and I just got my first watch bill and of course they want to give me watch and training on the days I wanted to take off with everyone. Well I'll show them.... I'll go out anyways!!! Let's see them try and stop me.

so, i have had the last 3 days off...and let me tell you how i spent them, haha...day one... um...i believe that was the night shani didn't do her homework, unless you count studying how much beer you can POSSIBLY fit in your stomach, and then when that game is done, see how many shots you can add to it. we started off at the dixie...where i got LA DONT her food, since she couldn't attend, due to the army....we got pretty tipsy there, (tipsy enough that i left her fod sitting on the fuckin table like a retard, and headed straight to R&Bs...we all know about the rest of the night(minus my bad ending)

well, i realized it was me and nikkis like...2 month thing... and that i had totally gone out with all my friends, so, i went over there, and she was totally forgiving and wasn't upset with me, but as we were talking... i suddenly broke up with her... (smart)

next night, fixed that shit, cos she is awesome, and i was just having a retard moment

last night, oh my god.... where to begin, shani, you missed out honey girl, you never called after your thing!

so, nikki gets here.... literally 30 seconds later, tara comes through the other door, with some chick named talana? we went and got my tv/desk...put it all together, as we were finishing with that, kari and sara? walk through the door.... then, we are eating, playin with the dogs, smokin and drinking beer (shocking).... then tom and jess and her little boy get here.... oh my god, now i am starting to have memories of the mafia house, and the ridiculousness of it.....then casey...then...my roommate...then who the fuck knows, cos i am totally leaving a few people off this list.... anyways...to sum it up...kari puked, several times, and NOT into the bucket i provided for her.... my dog got tipsy, cos she found a cup with beer on it, we turned around, and it was stuck to her nose, cos she tried to fit her whole head in there (haha, i have pics, its awesome), hopefully i can put those in here... so...ok, pukage, drunk dog, yeah, thas about the evening...this shit didn't stop until 520 in the morning, thats what time my clock said as i was tryin to fall asleep...lol...holy shit! and these bitches think i am going out tonight???? lol, i say no now, i will get back to you tomorrow on this subject

Ok, so I guess some lessons I don't learn too good. One would think, that after knowing someone so long you would be able to tell when "A beer after work" is gonna be more than that. Now we all know the inability of Dixie nights ending as intended and yet I proceeded to meet my world class girls (who i have missed and damnit B i miss ya too) at said establishment to calm my nerves after another day at the JIC Detachment. Of course, I was only thinking of Jo's full Bud LT that she was about to waste due to her inability to decide her taste for the day when I downed it in 5 minutes. And yes, I had to have my corona with salt, not to mention the obligatory shots, I mean, I have been away. (love that new toast) One would have that voice in my head would've been louder, when the venue was changed to R&B's, that I should head home and write the two papers that were due on Wednesday night. But, alas, I followed my girls as more were joining. So, when I stumbled home at 0120, I knew I had done wrong. I convinced myself that PT was at 0630, not 0600 and proceeded, with my first hangover in years, to show up as the running had begun. I headed back home to get ready for work, now I may have to make that up on Saturday morning (ewww!) Now it is 0728, my head hurts, my eyes hurt, my liver is angry and doing mean things to the rest of my organs out of spite.
... damn it's good to be back with my family!
